It is with pride and enthusiasm that I return for my 10th year at Merion Mercy Academy in September, 2011.
I currently work in two capacities: as an administrator and a faculty member. I serve as the Director of Student Activities and I teach French within the Language Department. My course-load this year will focus exclusively on the fourth-level French elective for seniors.
In the past, I also enjoyed teaching within the English Department, covering courses such as American Literature, Effective Writing, Literary Genres, and Summer Writing Workshop.
A native of Long Island, NY, I attended boarding school in Massachusetts at Phillips Academy (Andover), and then earned a bachelor's degree in economics and French from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
While at MMA, I completed my master's degree in humanities at Villanova University.
Before coming to the Main Line, I had the unique opportunity of living and teaching abroad at the Singapore American School in Southeast Asia. During the summer months, I have enjoyed traveling to China, Indonesia, Thailand, France, Spain, Italy, and England, often as a chaperone on cultural trips for students.
My wife (a middle school Spanish teacher and former colleague) and I make a home outside Philadelphia with our daughter and the former-ruler-of-the-roost, our basset hound, Bruce.

Additionally, I have been happily engaged in several extracurricular activities:
